Patients are expected to:
- Treat surgery staff with respect – no abusive/aggressive behaviour
- Provide accurate information – about symptoms, history, medication
- Keep appointments – or cancel in advance if unable to attend
- Follow medical advice – or discuss concerns if unsure
- Use services appropriately – Avoid unnecessary appointments or misuse
- Look after their own health – For example, lifestyle choices where possible
